Insurance Technical Assistant

Qualifications

  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • You have a BA degree with 2 years of working experience or a high school diploma with 5 years of experience in administrative jobs
  • You are computer savvy, can type fast, know Google Docs or MS Office, and like spending in front of the computer
  • You have an eye for detail and are meticulous with your work, like analyzing data and proofreading
  • You have strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
  • You are willing to learn about the insurance world and enroll in a paid 4-month training that will prepare you for your future role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to insurance underwriters in the USA, UK and Canada
  • Collect financial and statistical information and assist our corporate partners in analyzing and deciding if insurance can be provided to an individual or organization
  • Input relevant data and prepare the required policy documentation
  • Take part in the decision-making process by following established insurance guidelines and procedures
