We are grateful we had the chance to support two young automation talents from Serbia, and help them show off their skills at 2019 MakeX Robotics competition.
On the 19th and 20th of October, 40 teams from all over the world met in Rome in a unique robot showdown. Lazar Kovacevic and Ognjen Markovic, members of the Serbian team, brought their A-game and managed to take 12th place.
Although it looks like a game of zeroes and ones, they did so much more than just numbers on the scoreboard: they got to represent our country and provide a sneak-peek into the future. They met the future tech leaders, learned and gained valuable experience that they can pass to their friends back home.
OIP’s backbone is talented people and visionary tech. And who knows, we might just organize Robot battles in the near future, and see Lazar and Ognjen in action live.
