A quality circle is a group of workers who do the same or similar work, and who meet to identify, analyze and solve quality-related problems. Which advice would you share with your team members in order to improve team performance?
Kaoru Ishikawa (1915 – 1989) was a Japanese organizational theorist. He is considered a key figure in the development of quality initiatives in Japan, particularly the quality circle.  
The first circles started at the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), a Japanese telecommunications company headquartered in Tokyo. Today, for example, there is more than 20 million quality circles in China.   
The Toyota Way is a set of principles and behaviors in two key areas: continuous improvement (Kaizen), and respect for people.  In Toyota Motor Corporation quality takes precedence – any employee in the Toyota Production System has the authority to stop the process to signal a quality issue.
